WHAT COULD YOU DO?
As most of you know, the Goshen Land Trust is an all-volunteer organization. We have reached our current status through the dedication and hard work of our Board members, past and present as well as our volunteers and donors. As we acquire additional properties, our workload increases. To help spread the load, we are expanding our Board to the maximum of 15 as currently permitted by our By-Laws. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
You can double this recipe easily, just double all ingredients. It is always good to have some hidden away for a rainy autumn day.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Cream in large mixer bowl:
1/2 Cup Butter
1 1/2 Cups sugar
1 Cups Pumpkin (can pureed)
1 teaspoon vanilla
Blend dry ingredients and add to creamed ingredients slowly:
2 1/2 Cups Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 small bag of semi sweet chocolate chips
Drop teaspoonfuls on baking sheet (they do not spread)
Bake 10-12 minutes. Watch bottoms, they burn easily!
Cool on rack.
Store in air tight container.
