The Get Outdoors Club’s hike on the Goshen Conservation Commission Trail on Torrington Water Company Land
On November 12th over thirty people turned out for our hike along the 3 mile trail that travels along discontinued roads in northeast Goshen. Terry Hall, who’s family homestead was located along the trail, told of the stagecoaches that once road along this first Connecticut State Highway to Albany. Streams, bridges and beautiful forest views kept the group in awe over the three hour hike. This was event so successful, we will have to do it again!
(A permit from the Town of Goshen is required
to enter the trail.)

Come to our Get Outdoors Club! Every month we plan an outside activity for adults. Some take no experience and little physical strength; others may be more difficult, require equipment, or take more time; but each will be designed to get us outdoors to enjoy where we live.
Do you have an idea for an activity? Let us know what, where and the level of difficult. If you would like to take the lead for an afternoon, please do!
