Goshen Land Trust receives
the 2011 Annual White Memorial Conservation Award
On Friday, September 23rd members of the Goshen Land Trust board of directors attended the annual White Memorial Employee-Trustee Dinner for the presentation.
In the forty-seven years of the award many organizations and people who are well known for their contribution to the importance of conservation and nature education have received this prestigious recognition such as Roger Tory Peterson, the author and illustrator of Peterson Field Guides as well as organizations such as the Connecticut Forest and Parks Association. The Land Trust is very honored to be this year’s recipient.

Thank you to the Volunteers who helped at the Earth Day Work Party! We removed some invasive plants, planted shrubs and trees donated by the Northwest Conservation District and completed the re-planking of the Kobylenski Bridge. Great Day! Take a hike on our trails and enjoy our hard work!
